After being gifted a camcorder at the age of 10, Lindsey Sitz knew she wanted to tell stories. She began her "career" in the early 2000s, directing (mostly her sister), shooting (on said camcorder), and editing (on the family PC).
Fast forward three decades and Lindsey is a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist and Pulitzer finalist with more than 15 years of writing, directing, producing and editing documentaries. Among her awards are a Ben Bradlee Award for Courage in Journalism and multiple Webby Honorees.
Her seven years as a video journalist at The Washington Post spanned breaking news, investigative docs, short and long form, vertical and horizontal, and a 10-part docuseries.
For the last two years, Lindsey has worked with many different clients, including VOX Media, National Geographic Society, Virginia Public Media, the Ellis Island Museum and the Fallen Journalists Memorial, offering her skillset in researching, writing, directing, producing and editing.
